Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God
Sunday, January 1
Mass will be offered at 5:30pm (vigil, December 31), 8:00am, 10:00am, and 12:00pm.

First Friday Fellowship
Friday, January 6
7:30am Mass followed by 8:00-8:30am theological reflection by Rev. Msgr. Peter J. Vaghi on “Encountering Jesus” in the parish hall. Coffee and donuts will be provided. Monsignor Vaghi will hear confessions at 8:30am.

First Friday Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
Friday, January 6
Following the 12:10pm Mass, there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, where all are invited to pray at a Eucharistic Holy Hour for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. Please encourage others to join in this work of intercession.

Food Collection
Friday, January 6 and Sunday, January 8
St. Patrick's collects non-perishable food items for those in need on the second Sunday of the month. The non-perishable food donations are placed at Our Lady’s altar. Food donations are also collected the Friday before the second Sunday.

First Saturday Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament
Saturday, January 7
Following the 12:10pm Mass, there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament until Benediction at 1:25pm.

John Carroll Society at St. Patrick
Baptism of Our Lord

Sunday, January 8
10:00am Mass with the Reverend Monsignor Peter Vaghi, Homilist. Brunch follows at Grand Hyatt with speaker the Reverend Scott R. Pilars, S.J., incoming president of Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Additional Masses offered at 5:30pm (vigil, January 7), 8:00am, and 12:00pm.

Catholic Police and Fire Society
Tuesday, January 10
12:10pm
The Catholic Police and Fire Society will be remembering Police and Fire personnel living and deceased at the 12:10pm Mass. Come and join them to give thanks. Every month on the second Tuesday at the 12:10pm Mass, the Police and Fire personnel will be remembered.

Christ in the City
Thursday, January 12
7:30pm
On the second Thursday of each month, young adults from across the Archdiocese of Washington congregate at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church to pray and worship. Stop in for a few minutes or join us for the entire service. The Rosary begins at 7:00pm followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Scripture Reflection, Praise and Worship, and Confessions until 8:30pm. On this Federal holiday, the rectory is closed and only one Mass will be offered today at 12:10pm.
