Christ in the City
On the second Thursday of each month, young adults from across the Archdiocese of Washington congregate at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church to pray and worship. Stop in for a few minutes or join us for the entire service. The Rosary begins at 7:00pm followed by Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, Scripture Reflection, Praise and Worship, and Confessions until 8:30pm. Lectors
To enrich the Liturgy of the Word, a dedicated group of individuals has the responsibility of reading the Scripture for Sunday and weekday Masses. For more information, contact the rectory (202-347-2713).
Ushers
Ushers are responsible for greeting visitors, taking up the collection, coordinating the offertory procession, and distributing bulletins. Their most important role is the hospitality they show to all who attend St. Patrick's. To volunteer, contact the rectory (202-347-2713).
Food Collection
St. Patrick's collects non-perishable food items for those in need on the second Sunday of the month. The non-perishable food donations are placed at Our Lady’s altar. Food donations are also collected the Friday before the second Sunday.
Poor Box
Every month a specific charity that helps the disadvantaged and needy receives St. Patrick’s Poor Box monthly contributions.

At Christmas time a collection of toys are given to needy children in Washington, D.C. During the Christmas season, parishioners, friends, and visitors bring an unwrapped toy or made a donation for a gift to be given to an infant, girl, or boy, up to age 18.
