PASTOR
Reverend Monsignor Salvatore A. Criscuolo
Ordained in 1978, Monsignor Criscuolo has served as associate pastor of Our Lady Queen of Peace, of Assumption Parish, and of Our Lady of Sorrows, Takoma Park. He became police and fire chaplain in 1989 and has continued in that role since then. He was named a prelate of honor by Pope John Paul II, with the title of monsignor, in 2000. In 2001, he began residing at St. Patrick's, and in 2004 was named pastor by Theodore Cardinal McCarrick. RESIDENTS
Most Reverend Leonard Olivier, S.V.D.
Ordained in 1951, Bishop Olivier served the Divine Word Missionaries in various leadership positions for the next thirty-one years. In 1982, he was named pastor of St. Anthony's in Lafeyette, Louisiana, and became Vicar for Black Catholics in the Diocese of Lafeyette in 1986. Pope John Paul II named him Auxiliary Bishop of Washington in 1988. Bishop Olivier retired in 2004 and now resides at St. Patrick's. Reverend Monsignor Michael diTeccia Farina
Ordained in 1954, Monsignor Farina’s first two assignments were at Holy Family Church in Hillcrest Heights, and St. Thomas Apostle Church in Washington, before being named founding pastor of Holy Spirit Church in Forestville, and then pastor at Mount Calvary Church in Forestville. Named a Monsignor in 1984, he is founder and president of the Paul VI Institute for the Arts; past president and board member of the Catholic Historical Society of Washington; founder, Washington Chapter of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums; Vatican representative in Washington for Patrons of the Vatican Museums; Vatican representative to the International Conference on Museums and Sites; consultor, Pontifical Commission on World Culture; board member of Support our Aging Religious; and member of the Committee on Iconography for the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Awards include SOAR’s Elizabeth Ann Seton Award, the Catholic Historical Society of Washington’s Fr. Andrew White, S.J. Award, and the Vatican Museum’s Antonius Canova Medal for Distinguished Service. He has resided at St. Patrick's since 1976.


Reverend Monsignor Robert Panke
Ordained in 1996, Monsignor Panke's first assignment was as associate pastor at St. Peter's in Olney. In 2000, he became chaplain of the Newman Center at George Washington University for two years, until becoming director of priest vocations, his current position. He has been an Archdiocesan Consultor, a member of the Presbyteral Council, Priest Retirement Board and Archdiocesan Vocations Team and a chaplain to the George Washington University Knights of Columbus. He has resided at St. Patrick's since 2002, and was named a prelate of honor by Pope Benedict XVI in 2006.


Reverend Matthew Ernest
Ordained in 2004, Father Ernest is a priest of the Archdiocese of New York. He currently resides at St. Patrick’s while he pursues a degree in Liturgical Studies at Catholic University of America. Prior to his arrival at St. Patrick’s in 2006, Father Ernest served as parochial vicar at St. Joseph’s Church in Bronxville, New York.
