Firmus and Rusticus MM (RM)
Died c. 290. The stories that have come down to us about these kinsmen are unreliable. It is said that they were prominent citizens of Bergamo, who were martyred at Verona under Maximian. It is possible that the relics of two African martyrs of these names were translated to Verona and appropriate stories developed to make them local heroes (Benedictines).
