Dalmatius of Pavia BM (RM)
Born at Monza; died 304. Born of pagan parents, he was converted and preached in Gaul and northern Italy until his election as bishop of Pavia, a position he held for less than a year before he was martyred under Maximian Herculeus (Benedictines).
Blessed John Gradenigo, OSB, Hermit (AC)
Died 1025. A Venetian nobleman, who was professed as a Benedictine at Cuxa in the Catalonian Pyrenees with his friend Saint Peter Urseolo. After a life of manifold vicissitudes, he died as a hermit near Montecassino (Benedictines).
