Saint Patrick's Day

Each year we celebrate the Solemnity of St. Patrick with a Mass concelebrated by Wilton Cardinal Gregory and auxiliary bishops. Traditional Irish music including Irish hymns are sung by St. Patrick’s Choir accompanied by flute and Celtic harp. A bagpiper and Irish dancers provide entertainment before the Mass outside the church. All are welcome.
Blue Mass
Each May During National Police Week

At the Annual Blue Mass, first responders gather to remember the contributions of those who have served in law enforcement and public safety agencies and to ask for continued protection for them in the future. Representatives of Federal and local law enforcement and public safety agencies from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area and around the country attend. Forty Hours Devotion
October
Join us each fall for our annual Forty Hours Devotion, when we celebrate the anniversary of the First National Eucharist Congress, first held at St. Patrick's in 1895. Our modern day devotion is to pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. The devotion includes daily Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, daily Benediction, and a Solemn Closing Mass with Eucharistic Procession.
Saint Nicholas Children's Mass
December
We welcome children at the 10:00am Mass on a Sunday in December to remember St. Nicholas and the “little ones” for whom he cared.
